Mission Statement

The Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) helps people 55 and older find service opportunities in their home communities. RSVP participants serve from a few to more than forty hours a week in organizations that range from hospitals, youth/senior recreation centers to local police stations and educational facilities. RSVP involves seniors in service that matches their personal interests and makes use of their skills and lifelong experiences.
The Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) helps people, 55 and older, find service opportunities by using their skills and lifelong experience in their home communities. Serving hospitals, youth/senior recreation centers, police stations, educational facilities and other nonprofit agencies/programs.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer Opportunities

Rolling Readers: Tutor children in reading in area schools.
Emergency Supplemental Food Program: Help bag, register and hand out food to low-income families.
Time To Read: Tutor children in reading using magazines such as Sports Illustrated for Kids, Teen People and Time for Kids in partnership with Warner Brothers.
Quilting Bee: Make lap blankets for shut-in seniors, and blankets for newborns.
